Event submissions

If you submit an event, YEG Tonight receives the event and venue details, date and time, and any name, email address, source link, or notes you choose to provide. We use these details to review and manage the submission. Event details selected for publication may appear on the site. Submitter contact details and private notes are used for review and are not displayed as public event details.

Submissions are stored with our database provider and can be accessed by authorized site administrators. We keep submission information as needed to review and manage listings.

Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to public event, venue, area, and entertainment category pages. Google Analytics receives page-view information including the page path and title. It may also process browser and device details, approximate location, and a first-party analytics identifier. Page-view URLs are sent without query strings. Analytics is not enabled on sign-in, account, admin, protected, or event-submission pages.

Google Analytics is provided by Google. You can learn more about Google’s data practices in its Privacy Policy and Analytics data safeguards. You can manage cookies in your browser or use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
